Transfer a property to a new owner
Property transfer changes ownership of the record within PanelPilot. Existing technical information remains attached to the same property.
Step by step
As the current owner, check the property and synchronise pending changes. Review notes, photos and documents for personal information that should not be transferred.
Open More → Transfer property. This requires current data, an internet connection and ownership permission.
Enter the new owner’s email and the reason. Read the consequences and confirm that acceptance replaces all current owners.
Send the invitation. Transfer completes only after acceptance. Revoke an open invitation through its status list if necessary.
The recipient opens the invitation, signs in with the exact invited verified account, selects the owner profile and confirms with password and consent.
Check the Accepted status. The new owner has ownership rights; former ownership rights end.
Good to know
- This transfers a PanelPilot record, not legal property ownership. Other resident or installer access is managed separately.
- Personal data is not automatically fully cleaned up. After an uncertain network outcome, check the existing invitation before starting again.
