Identify an element from a photo

Element recognition can propose a type for one visible component. It is available only to eligible personal accounts during testing.

When availableUpdated:

Step by step

  1. Open layout editing and select a free position. Start the recognition helper if the action is available.

  2. Read the photo instructions and photograph one visible element with legible markings. Follow the on-screen guidance before sending.

  3. Wait for the proposal. Compare type, width, phases and description with the photographed component.

  4. Choose the action to review and add the proposal. Correct the element form and only then choose Add element.

  5. For an uncertain result, take a clearer photo or choose the type manually. Check the saved panel position.

Good to know

  • The result is a suggestion, not a confirmation of technical condition. Full-panel scanning is not an active user feature.
  • The original recognition photo is not saved in your photo record automatically. Add it separately if you want to keep it.
